The STURDX Outdoor Security Series™ 5U IP66 Weatherproof Outdoor Mini Security Cabinet (15" × 16" / 371 × 400 mm) is purpose-built for compact outdoor security and communication installations where dependable weather protection, equipment security, and installation flexibility are essential. Designed around a 10-inch equipment mounting system, this enclosure is ideal for IP camera systems, PoE switches, NVRs, DVRs, fiber media converters, wireless radios, industrial controllers, access control equipment, and IoT gateways operating in demanding outdoor environments.

With its compact 15" × 16" (371 × 400 mm) footprint, the cabinet provides significantly more usable interior space than conventional mini enclosures while remaining compact enough for installation on walls, utility poles, lighting poles, parking structures, transportation infrastructure, commercial buildings, and industrial facilities.

Manufactured from heavy-duty galvanized steel with a durable outdoor UV-resistant powder-coated finish, the enclosure features a rugged double-wall construction that improves thermal insulation while providing dependable IP66 protection against rain, dust, moisture, UV exposure, and harsh outdoor conditions.

Designed for passive cooling applications, the enclosure supports one optional filtered fan module when additional airflow is required. This model is not compatible with enclosure air conditioners.

Every cabinet includes adjustable 10-inch equipment mounting rails, one adjustable equipment shelf, two DIN rails, and heavy-duty wall mounting brackets as standard equipment. An optional heavy-duty pole mounting bracket is available for communication poles, utility poles, lighting poles, and roadside infrastructure.

The enclosure features a single lockable front door, while an optional rear service door is available for applications requiring rear equipment access.
