Fan-equipped models are technically classified as IP55 due to necessary airflow openings; however, in practical outdoor use, they demonstrate strong resistance even against direct water exposure, heavy rain and storm conditions maintaining a high level of weatherproof performance. 

For environments with extreme dust levels, such as cement plants, flour mills, and other heavy particulate industrial facilities, IP66-rated sealed configurations are strongly recommended to achieve maximum dust protection and long-term reliability. Selecting the appropriate weatherproof rating based on environmental conditions is essential to ensure equipment protection, reduce maintenance requirements, and maintain uninterrupted operation.

- No. Due to the 7U size, only fan-based cooling is supported.
